CN C44-9W 2676, IC C44-9W 2718, + CN SD70M-2 8008 have Q111's train in check crossing the Parry Sound trestle

With an uncharacteristic block of autoracks on the headend, CN's hotshot Q111 departs Jasper.

CN 111 heads through Longlac Jct leaving the former Canadian Northern Railway onto a section of track built to connect to the National Transcontinental Railway in Nakina

CN SD70M-2 8908 and C44-9W 2644 bring a somewhat overpowered 8700' Q111 into Jasper. In the middle of the train were SD70M-2 8895 and C44-9W 2577.

A clean CN ES44DC 2241 and C44-9W 2683 get Q11's train rolling again after a crew change in Jasper.
